Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using this website or any BrosCo Designs app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

2. Who can use our apps

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian. By using our apps you confirm you meet these requirements.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. You may close your account at any time.

4. Your content belongs to you

Everything you create in our apps — your mind maps, recordings, journal entries, budgets — remains yours. We claim no ownership of it. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, back up, and display that content back to you as part of running the service. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

5. Our apps belong to us

The apps, this website, our name, and our logo are the property of BrosCo Designs and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from them without our written permission.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use our apps to break the law, infringe anyone’s rights, store or distribute malicious code, harass anyone, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users’ data, or place unreasonable load on our infrastructure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.

7. Free and paid plans

Our apps offer a free tier and optional paid subscriptions. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis — monthly or yearly, as you choose — and renew automatically until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time from your account settings or your billing portal. Cancelling stops future charges; your paid features remain available until the end of the period you have already paid for. Refunds are covered in our Refund Policy.

We may change prices. If we do, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice before the change affects your subscription, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

8. Service availability

We work to keep our apps running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. If we permanently discontinue a paid app, we will give reasonable notice and provide a way to export your data.

9. Back up your own work

Several of our apps let you export your data to a file. We keep backups, but you are responsible for retaining your own copies of anything important to you. We are not liable for lost data.

10. Disclaimers

Our apps are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

CoreBudget is a budgeting tool, not financial advice. It does not provide investment, tax, or financial planning advice. Decisions you make with it are your own.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BrosCo Designs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the apps is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Termination

You may stop using our apps at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. On termination, your right to use the apps ends, though sections that by their nature should survive — ownership, disclaimers, liability limits — will continue to apply.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of our apps will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for material changes we will give notice by email or in the app. Continuing to use our apps after a change means you accept the updated terms.
